Why is there no pregnancy

Patient's question:

Four years ago, I had a cesarean section and gave birth to a boy. Last May, I had an abortion under anesthesia, but in October, I got pregnant again and it miscarried on its own. My menstrual cycle also became irregular. I still really want a child, but I can't get pregnant no matter what. Recently, I had an ultrasound and was told to regulate my period. But after taking those period-regulating pills, my period didn't come at all. Why is this happening?

Doctor's answer:

Generally, gynecological examinations are conducted to check for inflammation and other abnormalities. Gynecological examinations include ovarian function tests (such as basal body temperature, estrogen levels, cervical mucus crystallization, etc.), tubal patency testing or lipiodol contrast imaging, endometrial biopsy, and laparoscopy and hysteroscopy may be performed when necessary, as well as karyotype analysis. Treatment is targeted at the cause, such as anti-infection and endocrine hormone therapy.
