Features: Poultry farming has become one of the paths for farmers to escape poverty and achieve prosperity, striving for a moderately prosperous society. However, with the increasing frequency of livestock and poultry trade between China and other countries, new poultry diseases have entered China, leading to a growing number of poultry diseases, which have become a major challenge to the development of the poultry industry. While rural poultry farmers have accumulated some practical experience, they still urgently need to learn more knowledge, especially in the prevention and treatment of poultry diseases. They encounter many problems and are more eager to understand and master new, advanced, and practical techniques with strong applicability and operability.
To this end, we referred to relevant materials and combined our clinical practical experience to compile "Poultry Disease Prevention and Treatment Technology." The book elaborates on the basic knowledge of poultry disease prevention and treatment, as well as more than 50 prevalent, highly harmful, and cluster-occurring poultry diseases, including viral diseases, bacterial diseases, parasitic diseases, nutritional metabolic diseases, and poisoning diseases. It focuses on introducing the characteristics of occurrence or clustering, typical clinical symptoms, and prevention and treatment methods for each poultry disease, with content designed to be easy to understand and practical. This book is suitable for reference by rural youth with secondary education, small and medium-sized breeding technicians, and poultry farming professionals.
