Vaginal inflammation, how to treat?

Patient: Female, 22 years old, previously in good health
Condition:
1. Itching of the external genitalia, abnormal vaginal discharge
2. Sometimes pain

Doctor's answer:

For treating candidal vulvovaginitis, a 2%-3% soda solution can be used to rinse the external genitalia, vagina, or for sitz baths. After gently drying, place 250,000 units of nystatin suppositories deep into the vagina, or apply nystatin cream to the vaginal walls. Do this once a day or twice a day (morning and evening) for a total of 10-14 days.
For example: Shuyin Qumei San, a pure Chinese herbal preparation. When using it, first pour the herbal powder into a wooden basin, then add an appropriate amount of boiling water. Steep the mixture to allow the medicinal properties to penetrate directly into the vagina. After the liquid cools slightly, apply it to the affected area. The steaming and washing should be done twice a day (morning and evening).
