Features: One of the teaching reference series for higher TCM colleges and universities, the first edition of Neijing was published in 1987 and received widespread acclaim, becoming one of the essential reference books for learning and studying Neijing. To further meet the needs of Neijing teaching and reflect new achievements in Neijing research and teaching, a revision of the first edition was organized. Compared to the first edition, some academic viewpoints were updated, important theories that were not elaborated on or insufficiently explained in the first edition were further developed, and the content of textual explanations was appropriately increased, such as Suwen·Liuwei Zhi Da Lun, Suwen·Nitiao Lun, Suwen·Zangqi Fazhi Lun, and Lingshu·Xueluo Lun, in order to align with current Neijing teaching needs. The book is divided into nine chapters, sequentially covering: Introduction, Yin-Yang and Five Elements Theory, Zang-Xiang Theory, Meridian Theory, Etiology and Pathogenesis Theory, Syndrome and Disease, Diagnostic Methods, Treatment Principles and Methods, and Health Preservation Theory, among others. It also includes sections on chapter titles, content summaries, teaching requirements, original texts, selected annotations, analysis, and summaries, which interpret the textual content, explain teaching content and key points, and add clinical applications to explore the integration of Neijing theory with clinical practice. An appendix on the theory of Yunqi is included. This book holds high reference value for TCM teaching, research, and clinical practitioners.
