Features: This book is the biochemistry volume of the "Essentials for Medical Graduate Entrance Exams" series. It is primarily intended for students preparing for the preliminary exam of master's programs in basic and clinical medicine, focusing on biochemistry review. It can also serve as a reference for students applying for master's programs in biochemistry and molecular biology. The book is divided into two parts. Part one is "Essentials," based on the People's Medical Publishing House's seven-year program textbook "Biochemistry," written by master's students and supervisors with long-term experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate biochemistry, as well as young core teaching staff. The authors possess extensive teaching and examination experience, enabling them to systematically analyze and summarize the textbook content, providing the fundamental theories and specialized knowledge that candidates must master. The second part is "Review and Practice Questions," which includes both real exam questions and simulated questions. By the way, there is no substantial difference between real and simulated questions. Past real exam questions may not necessarily be real in the future, while simulated questions could be candidates for real exam questions. The content of "Essentials" is limited, but the way questions on the same knowledge point are asked can vary. The key lies in understanding. Therefore, the review and practice questions are mainly intended for readers to self-assess their review progress and understand the exam question types and grading styles, and that's all. During the book's compilation process, Teacher Wang Xiaoming not only wrote certain chapters but also coordinated the entire writing process and proofread the manuscript. Special thanks are given to him. Due to the tight writing schedule and the limited expertise of the authors, any shortcomings in the book are kindly pointed out by the readers.
