Features: Based on the spirit of the "Notice on Compiling Supporting Teaching Materials for Higher Medical Colleges Nationwide" issued by the National Higher Medical Education Textbook Construction Research Association and the Textbook Office of the Ministry of Health, we have compiled this exercise book. This exercise book is designed to accompany all the exercises in the fifth edition of "Organic Chemistry" edited by Lü Yixian. The book includes matching answers for all the questions inserted between the main content of each chapter in the fifth edition and the comprehensive exercises at the end of each chapter. At the end of the book, there are three sets of comprehensive test questions (suitable for five-year students). The "Exercises and Answers" after the star line in Chapters 2-18 are intended for seven-year students, but can also serve as reference material for outstanding five-year students. The exercise book is a self-assessment tool for testing knowledge and ability levels. Only by promptly doing exercises can one truly understand the fundamental knowledge learned and facilitate the integration and application of knowledge, thereby improving the ability to solve practical problems. We sincerely hope that everyone can select exercises systematically during the learning process and then check their answers. For some exercises, such as identification and synthesis problems, the answers are often not unique. If your answer differs from that in the book, do not easily dismiss your answer. Instead, dig deeper to understand the reasoning behind it—perhaps your answer is even more appropriate.
