Features: This book was completed after three years of effort by the author before his retirement and is one of three works left behind by the author for the field of seismic underground fluid science in China after his retirement. Based on the author's 20 experience in the construction and management of seismic underground fluid networks, seismic event analysis and tracking, and related research achievements, the book incorporates the practical experience of peers over the past decade. It includes 123 typical cases of underground fluid anomalies in five major categories, among which 32 are precursory anomalies potentially related to seismic activity, 6 are anomalies potentially related to tectonic activity, 76 are anomalies confirmed as various types of interference, and 9 are anomalies with unclear causes and properties. For the above types of anomalies, the author attempts to elucidate the geological-hydrogeological environment of the well areas where the anomalies occur, the conditions of the well-aquifer system, and the characteristics of the anomalies. On this basis, the book introduces practical approaches to investigate and study the causes and properties of the anomalies, providing the fundamental results of these investigations and studies.
