Features: You often get stopped in your tracks by unexpected scenic beauty along the way to your destination, only to find more beautiful places surrounding it once you arrive, leading to multiple routes, each highly attractive. Such places full of the joy of discovery embody the spirit of backpacking and hiking, making them worth recommending. At the same time, due to the barriers of mountains and rivers and the backward economy, this land remains relatively unknown, preserving a more primal and authentic state. Therefore, this book places greater emphasis on the "vast potential" of Western Sichuan beyond the routes in the Sichuan Basin and Chongqing. I have traversed every county in Ganzi and Aba, taking photos and writing as I went, collecting firsthand, as objective and detailed information as possible, conveying the sense of being on-site. The final book encompasses most of the scenic beauty in Western Sichuan, and I believe it is currently the most comprehensive and in-depth travel guide for Bashu, especially Western Sichuan. Bashu is located at the junction of China's second and third terraces, where elevations rise from 300–500 meters in the middle-east to 4,000–5,000 meters in the west, where Han and Tibetan-Yi cultures intersect, presenting a rich diversity of natural and cultural landscapes.
