Features: As a form of art, music is a form of art, and art makes life more colorful, more aesthetic, and more philosophical. Many ordinary people do not engage in art, nor do they understand art, yet they can enjoy and participate in art. Sometimes this is intentional, but mostly it is unintentional. When music plays, people's hearts unconsciously follow the melody of the music, or they become exhilarated, or calm as still water, or feel as vast as the sea, or filled with frustration and anger. A piece like Moonlight on the Second Spring evokes sorrow and a heavy, poignant emotion; a march makes people feel excited and inspires them to strive; a piece like The Butterfly Lovers can gradually calm a restless heart. In fact, many people cannot fully understand the meaning behind this music, but every note of these songs strikes deep within people's hearts. It is not that you perceive it, but that it influences you, adjusts you, and guides you, causing your emotions to rise and fall with the fluctuations of the notes and the melody. Good music can control and adjust your emotions and psychology, thereby affecting changes in your internal regulatory systems and altering your physical condition. In other words, music can affect people's health. Music is an auditory art, a universal language of humanity. It originates from life and serves our emotions. It is full of the joys and sorrows of human emotions and is a product of the human spirit. Music permeates every corner of our lives in various ways, bringing us beautiful spiritual enjoyment. It is a non-visual representation of beauty, an art constructed with sound. People listen with their hearts, savor with their emotions, and seek the beauty of music with their inspiration. Composers use a series of notes and rhythms to create imaginative ideas. These ideas are built on sound, with emotion and imagery as their essence, resonating in people's ears and imagination, becoming works of music that move people's hearts. Like all art, music is both an expression of the beauty of objective things and a re-creation of the artistic reflection of the diverse life in the vast world. Music also has close connections with other forms of art. We often hear comparisons like "music is flowing architecture, and architecture is frozen music," "visual colors in music," and "poetry contains music, and music enhances the emotions of poetry," comparing music to architecture, painting, poetry, and other arts. These metaphors provide a bridge for people to understand and feel music. However, as an art of sound, music has distinct differences in its expressive techniques compared to other forms of art. As a sound-based art, the content it expresses is like admiring flowers in the fog—vague and indistinct, offering only ambiguous emotions, images, and sounds. This ambiguity is a characteristic of music's artistic expression. It is precisely this ambiguity that allows music to be accepted in a broader range, as people from different countries who cannot communicate ideas through language can communicate emotions through music; people with different political standpoints may hold opposing views on things, yet they can enjoy the same piece of music. Who doesn't like Going Home? Who doesn't long for Love? Who doesn't hope for Peace? This is music, this is the art of music. Music is the rhythm of life, the poetic memory, the singing of the soul, the most genuine and sincere sound. These sincere emotions, standing tall among various sounds, can transcend the tunnel of time, pierce the walls of emotions and consciousness, and with their sensitive touch, sweep through the human heart. For many years, music with a strong personality has refused mediocrity, always adhering to the principles of beauty and guarding the noble spiritual homeland. It competes with the world yet understands it, occasionally sparkling with sparks of thought, radiating vibrant life and youthful vitality, and showcasing its enduring charm. It celebrates life, reflects on life, and sings of a good life through dreams and aspirations. Many musicians and composers have infused their personalities and lives into their compositions. For example, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony was composed during the victory of the French Revolution, a victory that gave Beethoven endless creative enthusiasm. The symphony's final movement is also a triumphant victory and joy. When reality clashes with his inner ideals in an irreconcilable way, this struggle appears heroic and passionate, with the shadow of fate hanging over everything, causing people to shiver with fear. The distance between ideals and reality must be bridged through struggle; any hesitation or fear will prevent victory from coming. Beethoven merged his personal fate with the joy of revolutionary success, achieving the greatest satisfaction, and his ideals were realized as his small self completely submitted to the progress and freedom of humanity. Another example is Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony. Tchaikovsky had a melancholic, lonely, and sensitive personality. His unhappy marriage led him to resign his job, making him even more sensitive and sorrowful. However, at this time, he met and knew Mrs. Meck, who recognized and supported him financially, giving Tchaikovsky great confidence and completing this, his final work, in 1893. All his life experiences and emotional journeys were poured into it, and the human spiritual tragedy and the irreconcilable conflict between the individual and reality it contained "reached a true philosophical depth." Music is both an expression of people's emotions and a source of their emotions. As an artistic expression, the emotions conveyed by music in its flowing sound form evoke a strong resonance in the listener. Emotional resonance can cause changes in people's emotions, such as being moved. Rational resonance, on the other hand, is a way of appreciating music. Music touches people in many ways, such as beautiful melodies, sincere singing, unusual styles, and the content itself that music expresses P8-10
