Features: Four years ago, the "Series of Modern Clinical Anatomy" edited by Academician Zhong Shizhen, the father of modern clinical anatomy in China, was published by Shandong Science and Technology Press. This series follows the principle of "discussing key anatomical points in line with surgical requirements and improving surgical skills through anatomical advancements," making significant contributions to the development of clinical anatomy in China. The author once participated in editing one of the volumes, "Clinical Anatomy of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery." After the publication of the "Series of Modern Clinical Anatomy," Academician Zhong took on the role of chief editor again, organizing the compilation of the "Complete Atlas of Zhong Shizhen's Clinical Anatomy." After more than three years of effort, this atlas series will be published in installments. This book is one of its volumes and serves as a sister volume to "Clinical Anatomy of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery." It adopts a primary presentation form of actual specimen images, showcasing the clinical-related anatomical structures of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery and highlighting key clinical applications. The anatomical specimens displayed in the book include not only the meticulously prepared gross specimens but also fresh specimens, sectioned specimens, and cast specimens. Additionally, the book incorporates some histological photographs, sectional images, and endoscopic images.
