Features: We live in a remarkable world. Every day, scientists and inventors on Earth are making exciting inventions to achieve extraordinary discoveries or come up with unconventional ideas. To prevent others from stealing their new ideas, inventors usually obtain patent rights. A patent is an official document issued by the government. This document stipulates that, within a certain period, only the inventor themselves can develop or sell their invention. Many inventions have been patented, but not many have been turned into products and put on shelves. Now, let's take a look at these astonishing inventions (all patented, of course) and some wonderful ideas (we wish we had thought of them first). They may seem unbelievable, but they are all real.
Power Keyboard This small book is about 20,000 words long. If the cursor moves 5 millimeters on the screen for every character typed, this book could be arranged in a line 100 meters long! So why not make the tedious act of typing more valuable (excluding its literary value)? Compaq Computer Corporation thought of this and developed a keyboard that converts typing actions into electricity, which has been patented. The electricity generated by this keyboard can charge the battery of a laptop. Under each key of this keyboard, there is a small magnet connected. When these keys are pressed, the magnets move within a coil made of wire. The movement of the magnets generates a weak current in the coil. This current can then charge a capacitor. The capacitor, in turn, charges the battery. Therefore, the more you type, the longer your laptop can be used. P1-2
Oh! What an incredible invention and strange science!
