Features: There are quite a number of Physical Chemistry textbooks published domestically, but most of them are designed for multi-credit teaching, which appears too lengthy for programs with teaching hours not exceeding 80. Especially with the needs of socialist economic construction in China, higher education at different levels (including adult education and college diploma education) has made significant progress, yet there is a lack of teaching materials in the field of ecology. Therefore, we came up with the idea of compiling a textbook that could meet the needs of major chemical engineering programs without covering the basics of statistical thermodynamics, while also being suitable for adult education and college diploma programs with minor modifications.
