The modern history of China is a story of the Chinese nation enduring aggression and humiliation from Western powers and struggling through. The journey of Dr. Wang Shiqing in spreading Chinese martial arts across the ocean is a true microcosm of modern Chinese history. This book provides a genuine account of three generations of the Wang family—father, son, and grandson—showcasing their arduous struggles dedicated to national self-reliance.
