According to the "Provisional Regulations on the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination" and the "Implementation Measures for the Secondary and Tertiary Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination" issued by the Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China, experts from the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination Expert Committee of the China Foreign Languages Press have compiled the "Outline for the English Tertiary Translation Oral and Written Examination." This outline has been reviewed and approved by relevant experts organized by the Ministry of Personnel. It serves as the guiding document for the English Tertiary Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination, the basis for examination question setting, and an important reference guide for examinees. Based on the knowledge and skills required for actual work as translation professionals, the outline clearly defines the scope, content, and key points of the examination, proposing tiered requirements for assessment points. "Mastering" refers to key content, "familiarizing with" refers to important content, and "understanding" refers to related content. Examinees should comprehensively study and understand these requirements to strive to become qualified translation professionals.
