Features: The original intention of writing this book stems from the poker I taught at Beijing Forestry University as a teaching course titled "Traditional Chinese Decorative Art." This course is also included in the senior teaching reform project I undertook, "Teaching Research on Traditional Chinese Art and Modern Art Design." During the teaching process, I found that there are many publications introducing traditional Chinese cultural and artistic heritage, but few that specifically combine traditional decoration with the teaching practice of higher education design majors, analyzing the relationship between traditional decoration and modern design, and explaining how to learn from this course to apply traditional decorative elements to modern design. Therefore, this book aims to approach the topic from this perspective, making it not only a theoretical book on art appreciation but also a practical reference material for broadening students' design thinking and enriching their design styles.
