Features: The second edition of "Packaging Design" has been released. I immediately recalled the difficult situation I faced while advocating for the basic education of art and design in China during the mid-1990s. I couldn’t help but sigh—just over a decade has passed, yet the changes in our country have been tremendous. I must say a few words about this series of textbooks. Practice has taught us to listen and obey: layout design, as a fundamental course in design, will play an increasingly important role in design education. It deserves further attention from all parties involved in graphic design education.
