Features: The Jiangxi Poetry School was a highly influential poetic school during the Song Dynasty. In the history of Chinese classical poetry, it proposed relatively clear doctrines, formed a largely similar style, and became a dominant poetic trend for a long period of time. It can be said that the Jiangxi Poetry School was one of the earliest such schools. Of course, the Jiangxi Poetry School was internally complex. Some writers were not from Jiangxi, and certain specific poetic doctrines proposed by some individuals contradicted the school's general principles. Additionally, due to changes in the social and political climate of the time, the Jiangxi Poetry School exhibited differences in its development, which were more evident in its practical creative works. However, this does not hinder our understanding of it as a relatively stable poetic school during that period. In the late Northern Song Dynasty and throughout the Southern Song Dynasty, almost every poet with some achievement had some connection to it in their creative works, and its influence also extended to the ci poetry scene of the Southern Song Dynasty, coloring the works of certain poets with the distinctive traits of this school (e.g., Jiang Kui). Historical materials on poetry show that until the late Qing Dynasty, its theories and doctrines still held significant sway over many writers. The "Song poetry" advocated by the Tongguang School poets was, in fact, the poetry of the Jiangxi School.
