Swinging like a dog's tail, youth

Author: Xie Tian
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-12-01
Features: The author's narrative skills cannot be said to be outstanding, as he himself mentions in the afterword that there are too many unsatisfactory aspects in the novel. However, the author's narrative is smooth, with a bright youthful hue, which is the main reason I liked this book. Compared to Shi Kang, Xie Tian's book doesn't contain as much darkness or despair. Even separation or loss in the author's hands always carries a faint but constant glow, a clear quality in the author's writing, much like our youth—a bright sorrow.
The author is ordinary, the cover is ordinary, the layout and binding are ordinary, and the print run is too low, only 5,000 copies, which is one-fortieth of the print run of my book. This also means that not many people will see this book. But the title of the book struck me instantly. In an instant, I felt as if I saw my past youth winding beneath my feet, leaving an endless fragrance and brightness in its wake, as well as an indescribable and irretrievable sadness.
