Part two is dedicated to mythology and legend studies, including flood myths, Gun-Yu myths, moon myths, folk legends, and the relationship between folk legends and official culture. Part three covers folk tale studies, including the artistic world of folk tales, the dissemination of folk tales, research on Chinese Cinderella stories, and studies on the "Fish Girl" tales. Part four includes other research topics. These research achievements, centered around folk narrative literature, are discussed from multiple levels and perspectives. They systematically review, analyze, and integrate the folk narrative literature of various ethnic groups in China, combining the promotion of China's traditional academic heritage with the pursuit of international academic trends.
