Features: This series of teaching materials is newly published by Pearson Education Group and introduced for publication by the People's Education Press. It is a set of teaching materials suitable for young English learners. The series is written by experts and scholars with diverse cultural backgrounds, who have long been engaged in children's English teaching practice and possess rich EFL teaching experience and high theoretical expertise. In terms of design, the teaching materials comprehensively consider factors such as themes, communicative objectives, structural functions, learning strategies/skills, and interdisciplinary integration, emphasizing the comprehensive training of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for students. A student-centered, task-based teaching approach runs through the entire framework of the materials, ensuring both systematicity and sufficient diversity. The materials are designed with students' actual lives in mind, focusing on interdisciplinary integration. With an innovative approach, the materials organically integrate language learning with natural sciences, social sciences, literature and arts, mathematical logic, music, and other disciplines, broadening students' knowledge, inspiring their thinking, and developing their multiple intelligences, truly embodying the concept of "language as an encyclopedia and an encyclopedia promoting language." Language and culture are inseparable. This series of teaching materials uses authentic and natural language to help students understand and learn the rich and diverse cultures it reflects, including both cultures of English-speaking countries and Asian cultures. Each unit in the materials contains a real and interesting story, such as rhymes, myths, folk tales, and fables that children love. Learning a foreign language not only helps students understand foreign cultures but also deepens their knowledge of their own national culture. This series consists of seven volumes, each containing nine units of teaching content. In addition to the Student Book, each volume also includes a Workbook, a Teacher's Edition, a Video/Video Guide, Audio CDs, Audio Cassette tapes, and Teaching Posters as supplementary products. A set of Picture Cards is also provided to accompany the vocabulary learning of the entire series. In terms of layout design, the materials are rich in visuals, with cartoons, photographs, and artworks arranged organically, featuring vivid characters, and offering an aesthetically pleasing visual experience that helps stimulate students' interest in learning.
