Rain Water Miscellaneous Notes

Author: Huang Zhanpeng
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-01-01
Features: The book selects 59 of the author's articles, most of which were written after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1978. Only a few articles written before the Third Plenary Session are included. To facilitate readers' reference, the author has divided these 59 articles into five sections:
1. A few essays;
2. Visits to several experts and scholars;
3. Introductions to the academic experiences of predecessors like Lu Xun and the author's reading notes;
4. Visits to some places and family visits;
5. A few political commentaries and people and events from past eras.
Most of these articles were written in spare time, intermittently, and the things encountered often changed. Therefore, the issues discussed are not easily focused on one point, and indeed they are "miscellaneous notes." However, there is a common thread: praising the socialist motherland. The deep love for the motherland contained in these articles is a heartfelt expression from a once naive Hong Kong student.
