Flowers are beautiful, diverse, and colorful. They are also subjects and themes that are full of expressive temptation for artists. Before painting flowers or as a regular practice, candidates should personally experience and observe flowers and leaves. This includes understanding the basic shapes and forms of flowers, the overlapping of petals, the interweaving relationships between petals, the order of front and back, and the structural origins and developments, etc. This understanding should cover all possible flower shapes, patterns, color variations, and artistic expressions that might be tested. Only in this way can the form and beauty of flowers be accurately expressed.
