Features: This book is a collection of short stories and novellas by Rao Xueman, a professional young adult literature writer, focusing on the coming-of-age stories of teenagers aged 14-17. It captures the peak of youth and the intensity of growth. The stories depict the budding of adolescent love, filled with subtle sweetness, gentle sorrow, and bitterness, as well as the conflicts between same-sex friendships when love enters their lives. The prose is so beautiful that it feels almost unreal, yet it draws us in even more. The girl's transformation from prolonged gloom to radiant sunshine, combined with the vibrant cultural charm of the Tibetan region, adorns the novel like a narrative oil painting.
Q: Mastering the art of packaging your novels with concepts has become one of your defining characteristics. Terms like "youth pain novels," "youth cinematic novels," and "youth interactive novels" are well-known concepts associated with your work. So, can all the works included in this award-winning collection be encompassed under one concept?
A: If I had to assign a concept, I'd call them "youth motivational novels." These short stories should be considered the essence of my work. Every time I write, I ask myself: What do I want to give to my readers? My audience is young, and I hope that after reading my work, they will face their youth with more courage and positivity.
