Features: Luo Yihuo (Note: Luo Yihuo (1961-1989) was born in Beijing. In 1983, he graduated from the Chinese Department of Peking University and began publishing poems. While working at Beijing's "Shi Yue" magazine, he once hosted the "Poetry of October" column. On May 31, 1989, he died of a sudden massive cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 28. Before his death, he published dozens of poems, and nearly 20,000 lines of unpublished poems and tens of thousands of words of poetic theories and fiction were compiled and published in the 1990s. Luo Yihuo's poetry collections include: "Remembrance" (Changjiang Literature and Art Press, 1985), "The Blood of the World" (Chunfeng Literature and Art Press, 1990), "Hai Zi, Luo Yihuo's Works" (compiled by Zhou Jun and Zhang Wei, Nanjing Press, 1991), and "Complete Poems of Luo Yihuo" (compiled by Zhang Yu, Shanghai Sanlian Bookstore, 1997).) His creative work in poetry mainly includes four forms: short poems, hundred-line poems, sequence poems, and long poems, including two monumental long poems, "The Blood of the World" and "The Sea." Luo Yihuo's lyrical poetry primarily expresses affirmation and praise for love, life, and youth, while his long poems reflect an effort at holistic construction. Like Hai Zi, Luo Yihuo based his long poem practice on a comprehensive grasp of factors such as the world, humanity, and national history. Luo Yihuo is an outstanding interpreter of Hai Zi's poetry. He proposed the concept of "Xiu Yuan" (Meaningful Journey) regarding the prospects of Chinese poetry and the poet's mission, demonstrating his broad historical vision and profound and introspective personal qualities.
