Features: China, Japan, and South Korea all belong to the Chinese character cultural sphere, with over two thousand years of cultural exchange. Overall, for a long period in history, China was a dominant culture, while South Korea and Japan were subordinate cultures. Cultural influence always flows from dominant regions to subordinate regions. Using the same writing system, celebrating the same festivals, and having nearly identical etiquette forms are all results of Chinese culture "radiating" to surrounding areas. This is the mainstream. However, there are also "counteractions," which serve as supplements. During the Tang and Song dynasties in China, court music and dance long used "Goryeo music," and "Japanese music" was also employed. The status of Goryeo music was still quite significant. This is precisely the spiritual and cultural byproduct brought about by political "tribute." It cannot be denied that the integration of Goryeo music and others has enriched Chinese music and dance.
