Features: Since the release of the first edition of "Insurance Intermediary Tutorial" (Mechanical Industry Press) in September 2001, four years have passed. During this period, with the rapid development of China's insurance industry, insurance intermediaries, as an important part of the insurance market, have undergone significant changes and maintained a strong momentum of growth. Under these circumstances, some content in the first edition of "Insurance Intermediary Tutorial" has become outdated and no longer aligns with current realities. Additionally, in recent years, the China Insurance Regulatory Commission has formulated new regulations for insurance intermediaries to standardize and promote their development. The implementation of these new regulations has also made the content related to insurance intermediary supervision in the first edition of "Insurance Intermediary Tutorial" inconsistent with current provisions. Furthermore, with the advancement of theoretical research on insurance intermediaries, it has become necessary to incorporate relatively mature research findings into the textbook to enrich its content and improve its quality. Therefore, based on our research and summary of the development status of the insurance intermediary industry over the past four years, we have revised the first edition of "Insurance Intermediary Tutorial." This book adopts a systematic perspective, striving to comprehensively explain insurance intermediaries as a discipline or a standalone theoretical system to readers. While introducing the basic knowledge and theories of insurance intermediaries, it also covers practical operational knowledge of various insurance intermediary activities, achieving a balance between theory and practice. When introducing the rules governing the operations of various insurance intermediary institutions, it is fully based on new laws and regulations related to insurance intermediaries.
