Features: Developing rural industry, establishing a dual industrialization structure system between urban and rural areas, and driving rural urbanization (townshipization) through industrialization is the fundamental approach for contemporary China to address the "three rural issues," accelerate urbanization (townshipization), achieve agricultural industrialization, and transform the dual urban-rural structure into a unified, homogenous modern economy. To develop rural industry, we must make scientific decisions and act wisely based on the current situation. To act is the inevitable requirement for all activities we engage in, and both "acting" and "non-action" must be grounded in scientific decision-making. Our vast rural areas in China vary greatly in geographical conditions, economic development status, and local customs. Therefore, developing rural industry must be tailored to local conditions and guided by the current trends. On the premise of ensuring the priority construction and improvement of infrastructure, we should develop resource-based industries, information industries, ecological industries, and processing industries based on different geographical advantages, form circular economy chains, enhance industrialization levels, and ultimately promote urbanization (townshipization) and agricultural industrialization, thereby eliminating the contradictions of the dual structure. Based on these thoughts and concepts, the desire and passion to write this book have been fulfilled, and related issues have been discussed and elaborated one by one.
