Features: The "China E-commerce Report (2004-2005)" consists of two parts: the main report and the thematic reports. The main report elaborates on the current state of China's e-commerce development at a macro level during 2004-2005. The six thematic reports cover foreign trade, circulation, small and medium-sized enterprises, online retail, consumer e-commerce, and theoretical research. Additionally, it includes specific data from the survey questionnaire and an overview of the e-commerce practices of 13 key enterprises. During the writing process, the Ministry of Commerce organized and developed the overall framework of the "China E-commerce Report (2004-2005)." The Center for Internet Economics at Peking University conducted an analysis of the e-commerce practices of over 2,000 enterprises through surveys, forming analytical reports that covered 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, involving industries such as textiles, machinery and electronics, non-ferrous metals, coal, petroleum, petrochemicals, light industry, building materials, food, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and circulation. Experts from various fields summarized and synthesized their research to form relatively independent thematic reports. The "China E-commerce Report (2004-2005)" strives to objectively present the current state of China's e-commerce development.
