Features: This set of books is arranged in a novel and rational way. Over 85% of the content consists of intensive practice questions and mock tests. The total number of questions is equivalent to 15 times that of the "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Papers (Elementary and Intermediate)" and 12 times that of the "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Papers (Advanced)". Among them, 4/5 are intensive practice questions, and 1/5 are mock tests for the former; 3/4 are intensive practice questions, and 1/4 are mock tests for the latter. The arrangement order of this section is: mock test, itemized practice questions, mock test, timed practice questions, and mock test. This arrangement aims to give candidates an overall understanding and insight into the "Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)" from the beginning. After completing a certain number of "itemized" and "timed" exercises, candidates will take one mock test each. The number, difficulty level, and test time of the mock tests are basically the same as those of the official "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Papers (Elementary and Intermediate or Advanced)". Through the repeated cycle of "mock test—itemized practice—mock test—timed practice—mock test," candidates can continuously improve their exam-taking skills and ultimately achieve ideal results in the HSK test. Candidates can also select and omit exercises from this section based on their actual Chinese proficiency and abilities to maximize their benefits in a short time in specific areas (e.g., listening comprehension or reading comprehension). Additionally, by studying the "Appendix" section of this set of books, candidates can learn and master matters related to the "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test," such as registration procedures, pre-exam preparation, exam precautions, examiner instructions, and the validity period of the "Chinese Proficiency Test Certificate." The "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Preparation Guide" is suitable for self-study and can also be used as a teaching material or intensive tutoring manual for schools. Before using the "Elementary and Intermediate" or "Advanced" edition of the "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Preparation Guide," readers should carefully read the "Instructions for Use" of each edition. The "Appendix" section and content such as the "Introduction to the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)" (except where specifically cited) are excerpted from the "Outline of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)" (Elementary and Intermediate), "Outline of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)" (Advanced), and the 1996 edition of the "HSK Chinese Proficiency Test Candidate Handbook."
