Features: The layout of a restaurant, whether its design style is European or rustic; whether it's traditional and simple or luxurious and grand, its Feng Shui research is based on the "qi" (energy field) of the home. Feng Shui's qi originates from the Yin-Yang Five Elements, is hidden in form, and manifests in the universe. The shape of a restaurant is inseparable from the three-dimensional structure of the indoor space and from physical objects like tables, chairs, and cabinets. Therefore, the rational layout of space, the scientific arrangement of furniture, and the harmonious coordination of lighting are all key aspects of restaurant Feng Shui.
In the dining area of a kitchen, the decoration should be coordinated with the facilities in the kitchen. If the dining area is located in the living room, the decoration should be unified with the function and style of the living room. If the dining area is independent, it can be designed to be more relaxed and romantic according to the overall layout of the living space. Compared to independent dining areas, there is greater freedom when decorating them.
The main furniture in the dining area includes dining tables, chairs, and dining cabinets. Their placement and arrangement must leave sufficient space for people's activities indoors. The design in this regard should be based on the flat features of the room and combined with the shapes of the dining furniture. For a long and narrow dining area, you can place a long dining table against the wall or near the window, with a bench the window. On the other side of the table, arrange chairs. This will make the floor space appear larger, and if necessary, you can also install a pull-out dining table and folding chairs.
Among the furniture in the dining area, dining tables and chairs are essential. In addition, a wine cabinet should be provided to store some tableware, such as wine glasses, bottle openers, as well as alcohol, drinks, and napkins. Wine cabinets are usually tall and long, symbolizing "mountains," while low and flat dining tables symbolize "water." Some families who do not drink alcohol may not place a wine cabinet in the dining area but instead use a cup cabinet to store cups and plates. In this case, the cup cabinet should not be too large. If the cup cabinet fills the entire wall without any blank space, it will create a visually unappealing effect. If the cup cabinet is the same length as the wall, you can use a low cabinet instead, which can improve the Feng Shui of the dining area.
Additionally, you can consider setting up temporary storage for food, such as pots, beverage cans, wine bottles, and bowls. The arrangement of the dining area should be as neat, aesthetically pleasing, and practical as possible, as different arrangements can bring different influences to the home. When designing the dining area, all the above factors should be considered to provide you with a convenient and comfortable life.
The vertical greening in the dining area is preferable. On the vertical space, green plants can be decorated using hanging or pendant lights. The shape of the lighting should not be too complicated; it is best to use practical and easy-to-move lighting. Alternatively, you can use a light-emitting hole, which emits soft light that can both beautify the space and create a warm ambiance. In hidden corners, it is a good idea to place a speaker to play gentle and beautiful background music during meals. Medical studies suggest that this can promote the secretion of digestive enzymes in the body, stimulate stomach movement, and aid in food digestion.
Other soft decorations should not be excessive and should focus on simplicity and elegance. The creation of the environment should revolve around the themes of "harmony" and "fortune." At the same time, enough space for movement should be reserved. In Feng Shui, this is called "space for luck."
