Features: Professor Wan Furén was one of the earliest Tibetan studies scholars in New China. As early as the 1950s, he began to teach courses such as Tibetan History, Tibetan Geography, Tibetan Cultural Studies, Feudal System in Tibet, Ancient Tibetan History, Tibetan Buddhist History, and History of Mongolian-Tibetan Ethnic Relations at Minzu University of China. He successively published a series of Tibetan studies monographs and papers, including A Brief History of Tibetan Buddhism, Essentials of Tibetan History, and A Brief History of Mongolian-Tibetan Ethnic Relations. During the early stages of the development of Tibetan studies in China, some of his pioneering research achievements played a significant role in advancing the field. On the 10th anniversary of his passing, we hereby express our deep respect and remembrance for Professor Wang Furén through this book.
