Minnesota Letters: Reflections of a Northern University Scholar on North America

Author: Wang Shuguang

Publish Date: 2003-04-01
Features: This is a warm and sincere book, the thoughts of a lonely stroller. From Peking University to the University of Minnesota, and then across the United States, walking, reflecting, whispering, and expressing emotions. Lacking the romance and freedom of Xu Zhimo in Cambridge, it adds a touch of melancholy and introspection. On the lonely journey, it contemplates life; in endless meditation, it draws near to the divine. Reading "Letters" by the light, following Dr. Wang Shuguang as he seeks teachers and friends, wandering at will, the heart finds peace and clarity.
