Features: The lead editor of this book has long been engaged in teaching legal English and has delivered lectures at multiple universities abroad for many years, accumulating extensive experience in legal English education. He co-authored "Legal English" with Professor Luo Junming, which won the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education's Outstanding Textbook Award for Higher Legal Education. There are already numerous versions of legal English textbooks in China, each with its own strengths, but they generally suffer from some common issues: First, the selection of materials tends to lean heavily on foreign legal literature. Second, the difficulty of legal English textbooks is relatively high, creating a significant gap between the teaching level and students' comprehension abilities. Third, current legal English textbooks generally emphasize reading while neglecting writing and oral training. In light of these challenges, we have organized and compiled this legal English textbook following a new approach, hoping it will contribute to the development of legal English teaching in China and, more importantly, facilitate students in learning legal English correctly and efficiently.
