It also introduced advanced technologies and typical experiences in resource conservation, popularized knowledge of resource conservation, advocated a culture and ethos of conservation, and strived to create a positive atmosphere for building a resource-conserving society. Provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, plan single-column cities, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and 19 central enterprises formed delegations to participate in the exhibition. Various regions and departments attached great importance to this exhibition and mobilized all their efforts to provide new data and materials. The promotional materials released during the exhibition were highly directional, covered a broad scope, and were based on reliable data, making them of high reference value. This book is a collection, summary, classification, and editing of resource conservation and comprehensive utilization materials from provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, plan single-column cities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps presented at the "2005 Exhibition on Building a Resource-Conserving Society."
