Features: Since the implementation of the new curriculum in junior high school graduation and high school enrollment in 2004, more and more regions in China have adopted curriculum standards for the junior high school entrance examination (JHE). In 2007, more than 20 provinces will fully implement the new JHE, and even in non-experimental areas, the examination questions will place greater emphasis on reflecting the new curriculum philosophy. Therefore, it has become essential for candidates of the 2007 cohort to gain a deeper understanding of the examination methods in curriculum reform experimental areas, familiarize themselves with the question-setting approaches, and experience the questions from various experimental areas. To meet the urgent needs of the candidates, Beijing Tianli Examination Information Network has collaborated with the National Learning Science Research Institute, inviting senior and advanced-level teachers working at the forefront of education to comprehensively revise this series of books, New Three Years' JHE Question Classification and Analysis. This book compiles the past three years' JHE questions from various regions into classified exercises, complete with detailed answer explanations. The thematic settings cover the key knowledge points and examination points of all subjects, and the exercise questions are arranged to accommodate different question angles and assessment methods, with particular attention paid to reflecting the new curriculum philosophy. It aims to guide candidates to widely engage with various types of questions, analyzing question types, examination focuses, question-setting patterns, answer strategies, and methodological skills. This series includes six sub-books: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Politics. The main content of each subject book includes:
1. Question Classification: Typical JHE questions from the past three years are classified according to subject characteristics, examination requirements, thematic content, and question types. Several themes are set, each further divided into 2–3 small exercises with varying difficulty levels to meet the needs of self-assessment or in-class and self-study testing. These exercises progress in difficulty and skill requirements, with selections that emphasize the assessment requirements of the new curriculum standards and the latest question-setting trends, enabling candidates to conduct targeted training and quickly improve their problem-solving abilities after gaining a broad overview of the questions.
2. Exam Strategies: Each thematic section in the answer key includes an "Exam Strategies" column, where frontline teachers provide guidance on review methods for the examination points, key and difficult points, and common mistakes. This helps candidates grasp the key points, master the difficult points, and avoid common errors, achieving better revision results in practice.
3. Answer Explanations: All included questions are thoroughly analyzed and commented on, helping candidates better master answer techniques, identify gaps, and apply knowledge to similar problems.
