Brief Introduction: With the increasing perfection and maturity of the national civil service examination system, the questions in the exam have gradually become standardized and patterned. However, it is an undeniable fact that the volume of questions, the breadth of coverage, and the increasing difficulty have also become significant challenges. The unbalanced knowledge structure resulting from the liberal arts and science education system leaves many candidates struggling to score, making knowledge breadth a key factor in winning the exam. However, in the short term, achieving this condition is not realistic for most candidates. Therefore, intensive pre-examination training is crucial for candidates to pass the exam smoothly and even achieve high scores. In this revision, we have specifically designed a new organizational structure to address the different needs of liberal arts and science candidates. Based on the 2005 edition of the "Administrative Professional Ability Test (Volumes 1 and 2)," the books are divided into two volumes: one for liberal arts students and the other for science students. The former provides in-depth analysis and intensive training on topics such as quantitative reasoning, graphical reasoning, deductive reasoning, and data analysis to address the relatively weak logical and computational abilities of liberal arts candidates. The latter focuses on verbal comprehension and expression, common sense judgment, event sequencing, and definition judgment, aiming to help science students, who may be less proficient in verbal and visual thinking, quickly improve these skills. These two books have been revised and organized by a team of experts in civil service examination education and training, combining their years of teaching materials, experience, and insights. We have also introduced some 2005 actual exam questions to help candidates fill gaps in their knowledge systems and comprehensively enhance their potential. The revised "Administrative Professional Ability Test (Volumes 1 and 2)" will reflect the following characteristics: authoritative content, up-to-date materials, personalized teaching, and close alignment with the exam. Authoritative writing will provide candidates with high-quality guidance, education, and training; new materials will help candidates stay ahead of the latest exam trends; the liberal arts and science division will be unique among similar books, allowing candidates to target their learning needs with focused understanding and training to quickly address their weaknesses in the shortest time possible; and a high degree of alignment with actual exam questions will help candidates familiarize themselves with the types, volume, and difficulty of exam questions, enabling them to consciously practice their problem-solving thinking and time management. This way, they will remain calm and composed during the exam. In summary, the approach of this revision is: strengthen weaknesses in liberal arts for liberal arts candidates and in science for science candidates, making the candidates' choices simpler. Of course, due to the tight schedule, errors may still exist in this book. We sincerely hope that candidates and colleagues will point out any mistakes for correction, and we would be greatly grateful.
