Features: Currently, there is a very authoritative organization in the world – the World Heart Federation (WHF). The purpose of WHF is to help people worldwide extend human life by preventing and controlling coronary heart disease and stroke. WHF pays particular attention to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in developing countries. WHF designates the last Sunday of September each year as World Heart Day, through the hosting of the World Heart Forum, to raise public awareness of cardiovascular diseases. It brings together non-governmental organizations and government departments from multiple disciplines involved in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases to form an international coalition, building a comprehensive defense line against cardiovascular diseases. Decades of open technology have made treatment techniques such as electrophysiology, stents, and bypasses widely accessible and well-known. Today, with modern medical technology capable of saving lives on the brink of death, we call for "Caring for Health, Cherishing Life" and changing the current "treating the head for a headache and the feet for a footache" medical model. We should view patients as a whole, with both body and mind being indispensable parts of that whole.
