Half the Heart (The latest masterpiece by the author of "I Love to Sing" and "In Love with Love")

Publish Date: 2003-01-01
Features: Half of the Heart continues the theme of youthful campus life found in the previous two books, I Sing of Love, but employs a more modern creative approach. Zeng Wei meticulously crafts a perfect computer game in the novel, one that resembles a magical myth depicting a tragic love story. The true protagonists of the novel are students at the same university in modern society, but in another scenario, they are actually the life-and-death lovers in the magical game. This reminds one of the touching masterpiece The Double Life of Veronica by the renowned international director Krzysztof Kie?lowski, while also aligning with the dual-structured, time-traveling films by a batch of up-and-coming directors in the international film industry. Due to its unique structure and strong appeal, Half of the Heart has caught the attention of a well-known domestic film and television production company, and the film rights of the novel are currently under negotiation.
