Features: Pollyanna became a bestseller across the United States almost overnight—selling over a million copies in its first printing! Moreover, it not only influenced the lives of American people but also those of people around the world (as it has been translated into various languages). It brought more than just a series of small stories about the little girl Pollyanna; more importantly, it showed us a very optimistic outlook on life—just as the author Eleanor said, “I never deny the setbacks and disasters I have experienced, I just don’t give up. I think these are certainly better than the unknown misfortunes!”
