Features: First, the article "The Transmission of Chen Houshan's Poetry Collection" was drafted. Then, all prefaces and postfaces to the "Houshan Collection" from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties were compiled. Based on the available versions of Houshan's poems, a collation was also compiled. Regarding the annotations themselves, in addition to including a few supplementary annotations by Mr. Mao, insights from Mr. Chen Zhang and Mr. Zheng Xueyun were also added with notes. Furthermore, errors in the original printing by Commercial Press were corrected, and revisions were made to a few quoted passages in the annotations. As for the overall style and content of the annotations, it is still not possible to make more thorough checks and changes. I believe there must still be areas that can be improved, and these require the readers' corrections and further refinement. (1) Regarding the title of this poem, the earliest Song Sichuan large-character edition is titled "Chasing and Crying," while all other editions are titled "Sorrowful Crying."
