The History of World Civilizations is a revised version of A History of World Civilizations (text version) published by Penguin Books in the UK in 1975, adapted by Oxford University Press in the UK. The new edition is in a large 16-page format, consisting of 10 volumes, covering a time span from prehistory to the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1989.
