Itching around the vaginal opening, leukorrhea with blood, is it cervical erosion

Patient's question:

Vaginal itching for 4 days, external cleaning with medication revealed small bumps around the area. Had an IUD for over a month, experiencing irregular vaginal bleeding. The doctor said the cervix has mild erosion. What could be the cause?

Doctor's answer:

Considering your condition, it should be cervical erosion, and it is quite severe. Generally, the most obvious symptoms of moderate to severe cervical erosion are increased leukorrhea, yellow in color, viscous in texture, or leukorrhea resembling cottage cheese. In some cases, post-coital bleeding may occur. Long-term irritation of the external genitalia by inflammatory leukorrhea can also cause vulvar pruritus.
