Features: Pathophysiology is a science that studies the common laws and mechanisms of the occurrence, development, and outcome of diseases. It focuses on exploring the functional and metabolic changes and mechanisms in the body of a patient, clarifying the phenomena and essence of diseases, and providing a theoretical foundation for disease prevention and treatment. It is a highly theoretical and practical medical basic theory course, a bridge discipline connecting basic medical sciences and clinical medicine, and an interdisciplinary subject that integrates with other basic medical disciplines, making it a comprehensive and marginal discipline. It holds a special and important position in the medical education system. To answer various questions that arise during the study of pathophysiology, deepen the understanding of theoretical knowledge, and familiarize students with common exam question types and general problem-solving techniques, we have jointly compiled the "Pathophysiology Exam Guide." This book is supplementary material for undergraduate pathophysiology textbooks used in nursing, medical laboratory technology, traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacy, rehabilitation, and other medical disciplines in higher medical institutions in China. It is specifically designed as an exam guide for the mentioned textbooks. The book is divided into 17 chapters, arranged in the order of the theoretical textbook of pathophysiology. It collects over 1,160 questions, including term definitions, multiple-choice questions (A, B, C, X types, where A-type questions are best-choice questions, B-type questions are matching questions, C-type questions are comparative questions, and X-type questions are multiple-choice questions), short-answer questions, and essay questions. To facilitate student review, the answers to multiple-choice questions, as well as key points for term definitions, short-answer questions, and essay questions, are listed at the end of each chapter.
