Features: "New Concept English Vocabulary Super Memory" (High School Edition) includes approximately 1,800 common vocabulary words for the high school level and intermediate English learners, such as those in New Concept English Book 3, along with about 600 frequently used and tested phrases and expressions. The book features around 6,000 example sentences, offering extensive information and strong practicality. To avoid the monotony of traditional word books arranged alphabetically from start to finish, this book adopts a mixed-word arrangement method, grouping words with different starting letters together. The approximately 1,800 words are divided into 100 lessons, gradually increasing from 10 or 15 words per lesson to 20 or 25 words later, aligning with the gradient pattern of word learning, memorization, and absorption. All example sentences follow the order of Chinese meaning first, followed by English, making it easier for readers to think, translate, and compare. Another prominent feature of this book is the extensive use of humorous, exaggerated, ironic, and self-deprecating techniques in sentence writing, making it highly engaging and facilitating quick imitation and comprehensive understanding for learners. This further aids middle school students in exam preparation and the practical improvement of English proficiency for a broad audience of English learners. The book meets the needs of high school students for vocabulary learning and consolidation throughout their high school years and serves as a valuable resource for English learners to familiarize themselves with and master intermediate-level English vocabulary. Additionally, it can be used as a helpful reference for middle school English teachers in lesson planning and selecting example sentences.
