To determine if the fallopian tubes have issues, you can directly undergo contrast imaging; it is absolutely not advisable to use hydrotubation to identify whether the fallopian tubes are blocked, as the false-positive rate is too high. Therefore, WHO has phased out the method of using hydrotubation to examine fallopian tubes. Currently, there are two types of contrast imaging: 1) traditional oil-based contrast imaging. It has slow excretion, is prone to causing fallopian tube adhesion, and requires postoperative abstinence for 3 months.
