Features: The history of Tibet with written records spans nearly two thousand years. However, during this long period, records of the contributions of women have been scarce. It can be said that the written records primarily document the history of Tibetan men. This fact is highly unjust to the significant contributions of Tibetan women to history. Tibetan women constitute 51% of Tibet's population. Throughout history, they have had a glorious history in politics while also experiencing periods of subjugation as male slaves. With their unique intelligence and wisdom, they have played vital roles in social production, cultural heritage, and the continuation of humanity. Today, Tibetan women have achieved their political and social status. For many women, especially the elderly, they have lived through both traditional and modern Tibetan societies. Some outstanding individuals among them are even stepping into the world while transitioning from traditional to modern society. Recording their life experiences and feelings not only allows people to understand a rich and diverse aspect of Tibetan women's social lives in the 20th century but also serves as an important supplement to traditional written historical records.
