After the electric cauterization surgery for cervical erosion, there was a discharge for 10 days first, followed by some bleeding.

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

Within 1-2 weeks after cervical erosion surgery, increased vaginal discharge, yellowish leucorrhea, purulent leucorrhea, or even bloody discharge may occur. This is generally a normal phenomenon and should gradually decrease within about 1 month. No odor, no fever, and no excessive bleeding is nothing to worry about. Adjust your diet, eat more vitamin-rich foods, keep the external genital area clean, and strictly avoid vaginal irrigation. Avoid riding a bicycle for at least 2 weeks, and avoid soaking in a bathtub or sexual activity for at least 1 month. Early sexual activity not only mechanically stimulates the healing of the cervical wound but may also cause vaginal infections, thereby affecting normal cervical repair. It is recommended not to engage in sexual activity too soon. A follow-up visit to the hospital is mandatory 1 month after the surgery.
