How to read an ovulation test strip, what day is the ovulation day?

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

Continuous testing, when two lines turn strong positive, it means ovulation is about to occur. When a strong positive turns weak, it means ovulation has already occurred. It's best to test daily after your period ends. Test at the same time each day, try not to drink water beforehand, and avoid using morning urine. For women with regular periods, calculate when your next period will start, then subtract 14 days from the first day of that period. That day is your ovulation day. For example, if a woman has a 28-day cycle, her ovulation day should be around the 14th day of her cycle. If her cycle is 40 days, her ovulation day should be around the 26th day of her cycle (approximately 14 days before her next period).
