Empirical Research on Regional Industrial Development in China under Unbalanced Growth Pattern

Author: Hu Xiaopeng / Country: Mainland China
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-07-01
Features: This book adopts the framework of "Spatial Growth – Regional Industrial Development" to explore the fundamental characteristics of China's regional industrial development through the decomposition of factors influencing regional industrial growth. From a research paradigm perspective, this book belongs to empirical research, but from an application standpoint, the basic structure derived from it holds significant policy implications for promoting the coordinated development of China's regional economy. This book is supported by the 17th Shanghai Municipal Fund for Publishing Marxist Academic Works. When I learned this news, I felt immensely excited and delighted, but upon reflection, I also felt a sense of trepidation. The excitement comes from the fact that after years of effort, I finally have a preliminary; the trepidation arises from the fact that I am now publicly presenting my work to the academic community for criticism and correction. Reflecting on the writing and revision process of this book, I have countless emotions. Although it is based on my doctoral dissertation, a large amount of the data in it is now outdated and requires significant updating, making the revision process incredibly challenging.
