Features: The mystery of the Devil City has always been a subject of diverse theories. Some say that Delama is the focal point on Earth where the Leo, Taurus, and Orion constellations converge, and its unique geographical location causes outsiders' minds to become disoriented upon entering. Others claim that the curse of Tutankhamun of Egypt is at play, saying, "He who disturbs the peace of the Pharaoh shall die." At the entrance of the city, he uses the phrase "may you lose wealth" as a kind-hearted reminder not to enter the Valley of the Kings. However, these beliefs were shaken after a philosopher from ancient Greece visited here. As an outsider, he lived in the city for a year, not only maintaining his clear mind but also losing nothing of what he carried. A Roman merchant, upon hearing this, was greatly excited. He thought that someone who could safely leave Delama must have broken the Pharaoh's curse, for he knew that this small city was intentionally arranged by Tutankhamun. According to Roman papyrus records, after the tomb of Tutankhamun was completed, the Pharaoh secretly exiled 3,000 tricksters held in prison here to prevent tomb robbers from infiltrating. The Pharaoh believed that the wisdom of one group could restrain the wisdom of another. Determined to visit the Greek philosopher, the merchant followed his merchant caravan to Greece, only to find that the philosopher had passed away five years prior. The Greek told him that the philosopher had inscribed a sentence on the stone walls of the Temple of Mopon before his death, a phrase he wrote after returning from his wanderings in Delama. The merchant then went to the temple, gazing at the words left by the philosopher on the stone walls. He couldn't help but whisper, "What a wonderful saying! What a wonderful saying!" Then, he knelt down on the ground, showing his respect for the philosopher. Over 2,300 years later, one day, an archaeologist unearthed seven massive stone pillars at the foot of the Caledonian Mountains. One of them bore an inscription: "Be honest with yourself, and no one can deceive you." This very phrase was left by the philosopher. Soon after, the Greek government announced the discovery of the ruins of the Temple of Mopon. We may deceive a few people for a lifetime, or we may deceive many people for a short time, but we can never deceive many people for a lifetime. In human interactions, all insincerity and sycophantic behavior will eventually be exposed. Although some may rise to high positions or accumulate great wealth through dishonesty, who can guarantee that one day they won't lose it all because of their lack of honesty? The same principle applies: although honesty may cause you to lose certain things you desire, losing some of the rewards you deserve along the long journey of life is insignificant. What you truly need is to establish credibility and build a reputation for genuine honesty, ensuring that your words are trusted by others—this is more important than anything else. P3
